Die Mutation erzeugt Vielfalt. Durch eine beispiellose Metamorphose aus bescheidenen Organismen entstehen fantastische Wesen, das Leben kann sich anpassen, es sucht nach neuen Formen des Gleichgewichtes. Die Lebensformen, die vor dem Objektiv des Fotografen erscheinen, sind Mutanten; sie passen sich den Veränderungen der Umwelt an um zu überleben und tun dies mit einer Eleganz, die jede Vorstellungskraft übersteigt. Doch wo liegt die Grenze zwischen der Phantasie des Künstlers und der Realität, die sich in der Symmetrie zeigt?
