Liechtenstein Trail

The 75km Liechtenstein Trail goes through all 11 municipalities of the country and, passing idyllic vineyards, nature reserves and charming old villages, it boasts many remarkable sights and wonderful views.

The free LIstory app brings together 147 selected historical sites and sights along the Liechtenstein Trail. The constantly undulating trail can be completed from south to north or vice versa. The Liechtenstein Trail can be joined at any town or village along the route. Depending on your level of fitness, the Liechtenstein Trail can be explored in two, three or more days. A luggage transport service provides that extra level of much-needed relaxation.

Even without the LIstory app, the Liechtenstein Trail is easy for anyone to follow, because the physical signage along the way allows for the route to also be hiked in the traditional manner.

Equipment
Hiking boots are strongly recommended on the Liechtenstein Trail. Steep sections can be found on the Triesen-Triesenberg, Triesenberg-Vaduz, Planken-Nendeln and Ruggell-Schellenberg sections, in particular.
