“Haute Route” are magic words that cast a spell on mountain-lovers. The world-famous ski and glacier tour goes from Chamonix in France to Zermatt through the Valais Alps. Maxence Carron is a passionate mountain biker. Together with a friend, he developed similar multi-day routes for e-mountain bikes, following single tracks instead of glaciers.

From waiting tables to riding trails
Doing a summer internship at the Seeblick Höhenhotel in Emmetten was part of her studies at the School for Tourism and Skiing in Salzburg. She promptly fell in love with the Klewenalp region. “There’s a huge range of cycling and hiking activities on offer here. The perfect addition to training for skiing.”
