Intro
The Marmot Trail on Betelberg Mountain leads from the Leiterli top station to the Stoss midway station (3 km, approx. 1.5 hours.)
Learn more about these animals along the way and discover what social, cheerful and funny creatures they are! Only 500 meters into the journey, you will find a surprisingly real "marmot home", a complex system of tunnels and burrows, which intrigues children, families and school classes alike. Truly a fascinating hike into the world of these charming, four-legged whistlers!
Note: This trail is also suitable for cross-country prams/pushchairs.
