The Neuchâtel Tourist Card offers visitors to the canton of Neuchâtel free travel on public transport as well as a whole host of other free offers, even if they’re staying for as little as one night.
How about taking a boat across Lake Neuchâtel or the little-known Lac des Brenets? Or why not immerse yourself in 500 years of watchmaking history in the Watch Museum in Le Locle? Or how about exploring the old town area of Neuchâtel by bike? If you book at least one night in the canton of Neuchâtel, you can enjoy all this and more – without ever having to reach into your wallet. It’s all thanks to the Neuchâtel Tourist Card.
Visitors (adults and children) who book at least one night in a hotel, holiday apartment, group accommodation or campsite in the canton of Neuchâtel will receive the Neuchâtel Tourist Card when they check in. This card entitles you to free use of the following services during your entire stay:
- Free travel on all public transport in the canton of Neuchâtel (train, funicular, bus)
- Free admission to 31 museums in the canton of Neuchâtel
- A cruise on Lake Neuchâtel (tour of the south and north banks) and Lac des Brenets
- One day’s free bike hire in Neuchâtel or Le Locle
- A ride on the Buttes-La Robella chair lift
