The idyllically situated Alphotel Biel-Kinzig is located in the middle of the unique Uri mountain landscape, right next to the mountain station of the Biel-Kinzig cable car.
In summer you have an optimal starting point for impressive hikes and you can enjoy the fantastic flora (Frauenschüeli, gentian, etc.). Due to the location directly at the valley station of the sports lifts (ski lift and chairlift), a comfortable ski-in/ski-out experience is possible in winter.

You can enjoy the magnificent view of the fantastic Uri mountains from your own balcony or seating area or from the restaurant's sun terrace. Due to its location on the Suvorov Trail (Via Suvorov; hiking trail no. 55) and on the Schächentaler Höhenweg, the Alphotel is also a stage destination for multi-stage hikes. From the north:
You can reach the Biel-Kinzig valley station from Brunnen via Axenstrasse or from Lucerne via the A2 (Altdorf exit) and then in the direction of the Klausen Pass. At the exit of Bürglen, the valley station of the Biel-Kinzig cable car with free parking is located on the left-hand side.
From the south:
You can reach the Biel-Kinzig valley station by leaving the A2 at the Erstfeld exit and driving in the direction of the Klausen Pass. At the exit of Bürglen, the valley station of the Biel-Kinzig cable car with free parking is located on the left-hand side.
From Glarus:
Take the pass road over the Klausen and before the village of Bürglen you will find the valley station of the Biel-Kinzig cable car with free parking on the right-hand side.
