Your sightseeing starts in the “Neustad” district, which differs from the higher-lying old town at first glance. Cross the arched bridge and follow the Mühlenweg to reach historic Delémont, an inviting place for a stroll and a bit of window shopping. At the Wolfstor you turn into the Route du Vorbourg after your visit to the old town and stroll directly to another sight: the Vorbourg chapel and a castle ruin enthroned on a rocky outcrop. From here, you can enjoy wonderful views of Delémont and the valley of the Birs.

There is a lot to discover in the old town of Delémont: walk from the Mühlentor mill gate along the old city wall to the castle with the baroque garden and the guardhouse.
