Winter walks with Saint Bernard dogs
Overview
Intro
Take a 45-minute hike with Saint-Bernard dogs through the magnificent mountain landscape of Champex-Lac.
Allied with the canons to rescue travelers, the St-Bernard dogs originated at the Hospice du Grand-St-Bernard, 2500m above sea level.
- Walking time: approx. 45 minutes
- Distance: 2 km for 75m D+ and D- (difference in altitude)
- Participants: The number of participants is limited to 8 people per activity, divided into a maximum of 3 groups (one dog per group).
- Dogs: You will be accompanied by 3 Saint-Bernards, which you can take turns keeping on a leash. Private dogs are not allowed.
- Weather: Tours take place in all weathers, except for dangerous weather conditions (thunderstorms, hail, violent storms, etc.).
- Itinerary: Round trip on a groomed forest path not suitable for baby carriages or wheelchairs. You can bring your own sledges and/or bobsleds.
Dates: Saturdays and Sundays in January and February
Times: At 9.15am - 10.30am - 1.15pm and 2.30pm
Price: Adults CHF 42.- / Children aged 4 to 16 CHF 21.- (this activity is not suitable for children under 4)
Conditions: Maximum 10 people per activity, children must be accompanied by an adult.
