This 40-kilometer long stretch leads from Zug via Unterägeri and the Rothenturm moor to Einsiedeln.
Description
From Zug’s Old Town, way above the lake, the path winds on along this core route with views extending as far as the Urner Alps and Mittelland. In Unterägeri the second lake comes into view, and on reaching the Rothenthurm moor you’re soon to cross the cantonal border into Schwyz. Your destination for this stretch is the monastery town of Einsiedeln.
