Intro
An absolute paradise for cross-country skiers, the Vallée de Joux, instead of high mountains, is a landscape of gentle hills and huge forests.
It is situated at around 1,000 metres above sea level and offers 200 kilometres of prepared cross-country trails amidst pristine natural scenery. Four cross-country ski centers are responsible for trail maintenance of the La Thomassette, along the shores of the lake, and Les Charbonnières trails - as well as the Marchairuz and Mollendruzpass exit points.
