Cumpadials is an ideal starting point for both winter and summer sports. A cross-country ski run, plus hiking, and biking trails pass the village. The snow sports areas of Disentis, Sedrun, or Brigels can be reached by a short railway ride or by car. For hikers, there is the Greina or the Tödi to explore. On the Rhine (located on the outskirts of Cumpadials), a swimming pond, a beach sports facility, and a barbecue area and playground invite both young and old to linger.
