Description

The ****Hotel Pollux is located in the centre of Zermatt - 200 m from the train station. The family-run hotel has 35 rooms. The wellness area includes three saunas (salt, herbal and Finnish sauna), a steam bath, relaxation room with infrared loungers, ice peeling and ice mist shower. For physical and mental well-being, we recommend a relaxing massage. The hotel has 3 restaurants: the "Pinte" serves Valais and Swiss specialities such as raclette and cheese fondue. The Arvenstube is the restaurant in alpine chic, where local and international delicacies are served. In the Vegistube, a small but fine vegetarian restaurant, you will be spoilt with classic and unusual vegetarian and vegan dishes. The cosy Chämibar with its open fireplace is a popular meeting place for locals and guests alike.

Getting there

The hotel is situated at the Bahnhofstrasse, only 2 min on foot from the railway station. Zermatt is a car-free resort. Access for private transport is only allowed as far as Täsch (5km from Zermatt). The road from Täsch to Zermatt is not open to public transport.
