At stations along the way, you will learn more about the history of the village. You can get fresh milk and meat products directly from the farmers. The playground at the cable car station also makes the place attractive for families with children.
Hiking in the Sefinental Valley
The Sefinental is the heart of the hiking region around Gimmelwald. The hike is around 10 kilometres long and is also suitable for experienced families. Along the way, you can rest at a fire pit by the creek. If you are looking for more, hike on to the Berghotel Obersteinberg or up to the Rotstockhütte.?
