The Spirituality of Advent
Under the direction of Jérôme Kuhn, the Ensemble Vocal de Villars-sur-Glâne and the BBC Concert Orchestra perform Psalm 42 by F. Mendelssohn, a gem of the repertoire that R. Schumann regarded as the masterpiece of religious music of his time. With the support of the Maîtrise de Villars-sur-Glâne, the two ensembles also present A Christmas Cantata by A. Honegger, a true musical mosaic that blends liturgical texts in Latin with traditional Christmas carols in German and French.
