Overview
Intro
After three intensive weeks under Jaap van Zweden, Alexander Shelley, and Johannes Schlaefli, the participants of the Conducting Academy present their final concert – supported by the Biel Solothurn
The event is the highlight of three weeks of intensive work under the experienced guidance of Jaap van Zweden, Alexander Shelley, and Johannes Schlaefli, who have two high-caliber ensembles at their disposal: the Biel Solothurn Symphony Orchestra and the Gstaad Festival Orchestra. This final concert of this year's Conducting Academy marks a special pinnacle for all participants. At the conclusion of the event, the Menuhin Conducting Prize (formerly known as the Neeme Järvi Prize) will be awarded. A distinguished jury will recognize the most promising talents and provide them with important next steps on their artistic journey.
