Intro

Im Kanton Glarus ist FRIDOLIN allgegenwärtig. Es liegt auf der Hand, Bekanntes und weniger Bekanntes über FRIDOLIN zusammen zu tragen sowie Neues über ihn zu erfahren. Dies soll im Herbst geschehen.

Im Fokus stehen die Bereiche Geschichte, Kunst und Kultur. Doch FRIDOLIN ist nicht nur im Kanton Glarus bekannt, auch in Bad Säckingen spielt er eine wichtige Rolle. Unerwartete Bezüge ergeben sich weiter unter dem Blickwinkel FRIDOLIN als Migrant. Volkskundlich interessant ist, dass FRIDOLIN als Namensgeber breit Anwendung findet.

Die Ausstellung zeigt Werke von Mirko Slongo, Kunstinstallation / Jacky Orler, Skulptur Näfels / Tina Hauser, Skulptur New Glarus / Sasi Subramaniam, Fotos Fridolin / Karl Braun, Fotos zu Bad Säckingen / TSO, Film «Auf den Spuren Fridolins» mit Adelheid Lang, Bad Säckingen / FRIDOLIN | FRIDOLIN | FRIDOLIN
