The Mattmark Memorial will take place for the 8th time on 12 September 2026. The classic half marathon runs along historic paths through the Saas Valley (21K) and, like the practically flat lake circuit (8K), finishes on the Mattmark Dam. In addition, there are two challenging alpine trails over 35K and 45K. These trails, which start and finish in Saas-Grund (Erlebnisbank Arena), follow the high-altitude trails high above the valley.
For those who prefer a more leisurely pace, there is the FUN category for the 8km route around Lake Mattmark and the half marathon.
Start of runs: from 6:00 a.m.
Catering: from 10:00 a.m. - Erlebnisbank Arena, Saas-Grund
Award ceremony: from 2:45 p.m. - Erlebnisbank Arena, Saas-Grund
