Intro
Zip from the Leiterli mountain station to the Stoss intermediate station – this sledge run is fun for the entire family. It also gets plenty of snow, thanks to its altitude. The course through open terrain offers magnificent panoramic views of the Wildstrubel.
Description
The Betelberg gondola takes sledgers comfortably up to Leiterli, the sledge run's starting point. Before your downhill run, it's well worth stopping for a moment to take in the breathtaking views of the Wildstrubel massif and the Spillgerten. Steer your sledge or bob over glittering snow towards the Stoss intermediate station.
For sledges, there is a separate groomed run. It runs through open terrain, allowing you to enjoy the spectacular countryside even more. Those who need a break can head to the Restaurant Betelberg halfway down the mountain. The mountain restaurants at Leiterli, Hubel and Stoss are also excellent options to mingle with skiers.
The run is not very challenging and therefore suitable for young and old sledgers. From the Betelberg intermediate station, it's a leisurely gondola ride back down to the valley – or back up to the Leiterli for a second round. There is no sledge run from the intermediate station down to the valley.
An enjoyable tour includes the careful planning of the same. Please inform yourself in advance at the local information center about the route and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this route may be blocked or interrupted
