This 23km mountain bike circuit introduces you to the villages located on the Crans-Montana hillsides and their curious features. On the programme: Venthône castle, Lens church and the Christ-Roi.

Description
The route begins at the beautiful Etang de la Moubra lake in Crans-Montana and leads through the traditional landscapes of the Noble et Louable Contrée. The common land community came into being in the 14th century, bringing together the communities of Lens, Icogne, Chermignon, Montana and Randogne. Today, the Noble et Louable Contrée stands for particularly diverse landscapes with sun-kissed vineyards, Alpine meadows, mixed forests and traditional Valais villages.
At the start, short single trails alternate with Alpine roads. The tour passes scattered alms, crossing meadows and the tranquil villages of Randogne and Mollens. The unique view stretches across the Rhone Valley to the Dents du Midi. In Venthône, you start to pass through the south-facing vineyards. The wine-making village boasts numerous medieval buildings, including the Venthône tower and Anchettes castle. Wine-making culture is a long-standing tradition in the region and has left its mark on the slopes, with their dry-stone walls, as well as the villages, which feature vaulted cellars and narrow passageways.
After descending through the vines, you need to pedal harder from Chermignon-d’en-Bas. The route ascends comfortably via Lens to the Etang des Miriouges. The small lake in the middle of the forest has a picnic area, making it the ideal spot for a final break and a welcome cool-down.
