Overview
When the days grow shorter and temperatures fall, the people in Basel look forward to a colourful time that makes children's hearts beat faster and allows adults to wallow in nostalgia: the Basel autumn fair (Herbstmesse). On our tour you'll learn all about the oldest fair in Switzerland and its history stretching back 550 years. Be tempted by the aroma of candy floss, gingerbread and roast chestnuts, stroll with us through the hustle and bustle and learn intriguing facts about this old tradition.
