Wildlife watching: In the realm of the Saas wild
Overview
Be up close when the breathtaking nature and the local wildlife come to life early in the morning! Meeting point at 6:45 a.m. at the Spielboden valley station First, there will be a short orientation about the local wildlife. Experience shows that many ibexes, chamois and other wild animals can be observed here at this time of day. The local guides will take you to the best spots where, with a bit of luck, you can see the animals up close. You will also learn exciting background information about the habits of these shy animals. The experienced guides will tell you a lot of interesting things about the way of life of the animals in the Saas Valley and how they are treated. Tip: be sure to take binoculars with you to get an even better view of the animals.
