Overview
On the guided discovery tour in the Bergalgatal valley, you’ll learn all about the lives of marmots. We can observe the animals and their young up close.
- Meeting point at 09:40 at the PostBus stop in Avers-Juppa (after arrival by PostBus)
- Duration approx. 1.5–2 hours
- Registration required by 4:00 pm the previous day
- Minimum number of participants: 5 paying persons
- Limited number of participants
- Payment is due upon booking
- Takes place only in dry weather
- Wear sturdy shoes and clothing suitable for the weather
- Bring your own picnic for the individual return walk to Avers-Juppa
- If you have one, please bring your binoculars
- Children under 5 may participate if they have enough stamina to keep up
- Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
- Dogs are not recommended, as marmots will not emerge from their burrows if they are present.
If the event has to be cancelled, Viamala Tourism will inform you in advance.
