Guided tours of Küblis power plant
Overview
Intro
With its guided tours, the Küblis power plant provides a look behind the scenes of electricity production from hydropower. Groups of 6 or more people can register. The guided tours are offered all year round.
Repower's Küblis power plant has been producing electricity from hydropower since 1921. The power plant is an important part of the energy infrastructure in Prättigau and is architecturally of great value. The cross-shaped arrangement of the central building designed by the Graubünden architect Nicolaus Hartmann junior is striking.
Repower is making the power plant accessible to interested parties. Experts will show on site how renewable energy is produced at the Küblis power plant. In addition, the participants will receive an overview of the historical significance of hydropower in Graubünden and in the Prättigau in particular.
At the end of the tour, the participants will not only gain a lot of knowledge, but also become richer by a sweet speciality from the region.
