The group accommodation Walchwilerhus, inaugurated in 1996, is situated on the edge of Hospental near Andermatt in the high-alpine, flat Urseren valley, 2 minutes from the railway station (canton Uri, Central Switzerland).
It is very much appreciated by school parties, clubs and families due to the generous and cosy layout of its rooms, the amenities in the kitchen, the table-tennis room etc. Next to the house, there is a basketball court, and 2 minutes away you will find a public playground at your disposal.
Ski area in Andermatt (Nätschen and Gemsstock) and the Oberalp-area (Sedrun). It is also an ideal starting point for cross-country skiing, ski-touring and snow-shoe hiking.
The summer invites you to mountaineering, hiking, cycling, climbing and crystal-seeking tours.
Topics for projects area: Gotthard past and present (tunnel surveillance) - rock formations - flora - animals - life in the Urseren valley
The group accommodation Walchwilerhus is located at the bicycle routes number 1 from the Furka Pass to Geneva and number 3 from Basel to Chiasso.
The price of the final cleaning is obligatory and depends on the number of persons and stay.
