Traditional alpine cattle ascent to Engstligenalp
On 20 June 2026, the traditional alpine cattle ascent leads the animals up to Engstligenalp. Visitors can experience an impressive piece of living alpine culture in Adelboden’s mountain scenery.
Arrival Information
An extra bus departs at 6 AM from Adelboden Post to the valley station Adelboden, Unter dem Birg. The bus stops at all regular stops.
Remarks
For safety reasons and the well-being of the animals, the hiking trail is closed during the ascent to the alpine pastures. Thank you for your understanding.
