Anna Orlik: Solo Violin Recital
Vista general
Introducción
The fourth in a series of seven concerts in the run-up to the opening of the fourth edition of the Morges and Region International Classical and Opera Festival 2027
A violin, a bow, and over two centuries of virtuosity. This recital follows in the footsteps of Niccolò Paganini, the legendary violinist whose technical daring changed the violin forever, and of those who have carried on his legacy.
The programme features works by Paganini, Ernst, Lipiński, Wieniawski, Bacewicz, Piazzolla and Igudesman.
Buckle up: this is a high-speed journey, where the violin alone becomes an orchestra!
Anna Orlik, a violinist of Polish origin and a founding member of the Léman Virtuosi alongside the Swiss cellist Constantin Macherel, is a prize-winner at numerous international competitions, notably the Wolfgang Marschner Competition in Germany and the Max Reger Competition.
A graduate of the Menuhin Music Academy in Switzerland, where she studied with the legendary violinist Maxim Vengerov, and of the Royal Academy of Music in London, she pursues an international career as a soloist and chamber musician.
She has performed at prestigious festivals, notably the Gstaad Menuhin Festival, where she played alongside Maxim Vengerov, as well as with numerous international orchestras. Her career has taken her to stages across Europe, South America, Asia and Africa.
