Introducción
The exhibition brings together eight artistic positions that renegotiate perspectives on space, body and perception and understand the exhibition space as an active space of experience.
Under the theme of Perspectives, the exhibition brings together eight positions from photography, installation and sculpture that explore the relationship between space, body and perception in a new way. The works question familiar perspectives, open up unfamiliar lines of sight and make the exhibition space itself an integral part of the artistic experience.
Photography examines light, line and point of view in order to shift the visible; installations occupy and transform the space, challenging the physical presence of the viewer; sculptures react to different perspectives and question materiality, weight and duration. This interplay creates a dynamic network of perspectives that inextricably links observation, experience and interpretation.
Curator Miriam Vieli-Goll conceived the exhibition, placing the works in relation to one another and enabling different artistic perspectives to come together. A book not only documents the exhibition, but also opens up the possibility of understanding the diversity of approaches, reflecting on perception and thinking further about the artistic perspectives.
