Kulturtreppe #03 : Malummí (BS) & Alexia Thomas (BS)
Vista general
Introducción
Enchanting Dreampop & Alternative Indie-Folk made in Basel
Malummí is indie folk, electronica and alternative rock - profound lyrics that question social norms and music that casts a spell: enchanting, powerful and exhilarating. The trio released their new album "Damaged By Their Silence" in spring and are on tour internationally with Black Sea Dahu. We are therefore all the more delighted that Malummí will be opening Saturday at the Kulturtreppe.
Cinematic soundscapes also characterize the sound of Alexia Thomas, the second act of the evening. With her band, the singer and producer fuses experimental electronic and acoustic sounds with dream pop and indie rock. "Based on a dream" is the title of her latest album, which explores dream worlds and utopias and transports the audience into her very own worlds of sound.
With a bit of luck, we might even get to see a feature with Malummí singer Larissa - in any case, Saturday promises two great Basel indie acts in the MUKS museum courtyard!
The Markthalle Basel and the Libanicious food stand will be providing drinks and tasty snacks.
