Introducción
Velvet Vibes combine jazz, blues, bossa nova and pop to create an atmospheric concert experience. At the center: a voice with character - and a piano that creates space.
Why "Velvet Vibes"? Because that's exactly what happens when the duo's music is played: velvety sounds fill the room, creating subtle vibrations that linger. The band stands for musical closeness, intimacy and the courage to be emotional - without pathos or fuss.
Patricia Cossar takes center stage. Her voice is powerful and direct, soft and vulnerable, playful and rhythmic. She gives songs such as "Black Coffee", "Loverman" and "The Shadow of Your Smile" their very own color - and at the same time brings modern accents from pop and chanson to the stage, for example with "Je veux" by ZAZ or "Moondance" by Van Morrison.
Stefan Joss accompanies on the piano with a wide musical range. His playing is restrained when it needs space and present when it carries - always at the service of the songs. In addition to well-known classics, some of his own compositions also find their place in the program.
Velvet Vibes invite you to a concert that decelerates, touches and surprises - in the middle of Lucerne, in the special ambience of the Musikpavillon.
