Introducción
In this creation, Rocio Berenguer immerses us in the festive, rhythmic atmosphere of a concert.
In this creation, Rocio Berenguer plunges us into the festive, rhythmic atmosphere of a concert. The dance steps are borrowed from pop-culture choreography and music videos, whose codes are subverted by working with vegetal, abandoned and unproductive body states. Taking weeds as its inspiration, this ecological tale joyfully addresses the forms of resistance and coexistence we still have to invent. Faced with the communicative energy of these mutating beings, we renew our desire and wonder at the multiplicity of living forms. In response to the fear and guilt that can paralyze us, Rocio Berenguer invites us to "have fun together, making a new, non-anthropocentric world blossom".
