Inleiding

Wellness-, berg- en entertainmenthotel in de zonnige Walliser Alpen op een hoogte van 1411 m, direct aan het historische dorpsplein. 135 kamers en suites, een eigen thermale badinrichting en tennisbanen op het zand. Directe toegang tot de Walliser Alpentherme, Europa's grootste en hoogstgelegen wellness- en thermeninrichting. Verschillende restaurants en bistro's, lounge met open haard, ligweide en thermentuin.

The rooms feature a modern design and offer a flat-screen TV, writing desk and sitting area. There is also a mini-bar and a bathroom with slippers and bathrobes. Free WiFi is provided on-site. Guests can enjoy the hotel's own wellness and spa area with indoor and outdoor pools, a grotto bath, saunas and will have discounted access to the Walliser Alpentherme, connected to the hotel via an underground path. A rich breakfast is provided every morning, while fine Swiss cuisine and international specialties can be enjoyed at the Maison Blanche Restaurant and Sacre Bon Restaurant.
The newly renovated 4-star Hotel de France by Thermalhotels is situated directly in the center of Leukerbad at the Dorfplatz, immediately next to the thermal bath Walliser Alpentherme. The mountains surrounding the hotel make the panorama breathtaking! Other points of interest include the Torrent ski elevator which is 200 m away and Gemmi cable car located 601 m away. Other nearby attractions include a sports arena with an ice skating rink, tennis court, badminton court, squash court and mini-golf course. The closest airport is Sion, 40 minutes by car. Geneva airport is a 2-hour drive away and Zurich is 2.5 hours from the property.
