Aroser Rothorn and Erzhorn with Ramozhütte
Overzicht
Inleiding
Via Grat climbing, we will ascend the Aroser Rothorn (T4) from Urdenfürggli. Overnight stay in the beautiful Ramoz hut, and the next day we will also climb Arosa's Wappenberg, the Erzhorn (T5).
Via Grat climbing, we will ascend the Aroser Rothorn (T4) from Urdenfürggli. Overnight stay in the beautiful Ramoz hut, and the next day we will also climb Arosa's Wappenberg, the Erzhorn (T5). The date is intentionally set for Monday/Tuesday, as the hut is simply much nicer with fewer guests ;) Monday: Meet at the Arosa Hörnli valley station for a brief equipment check and distribution of supplies (self-catering hut). Ride the lifts to Urdenfürggli, then hike to Parpaner Rothorn. We will walk below the eastern summit towards the ridge that leads us to today's peak. In easy climbing (T4), we will ascend roped together to the summit. After a short break for views and summit discussions, we will descend into Welschtobel to the Ramoz hut. The highlight at the end: a cozy dinner in the comfortably heated wooden Ramoz hut, hopefully being the only guests and located at the back of the Welschtobel valley in Arosa. approx. 3.5 h to Aroser Rothorn / descent approx. 2 h / +700 m Tuesday: Leisurely breakfast in the hut. Once we are ready, we will ascend to the Erzhorn saddle, from where we will tackle the Erzhorn (T5) roped together. A beautiful and impressive peak with a cool summit cross and a lovely view of Arosa. After the summit experience, we will first descend via the same route back to the Erzhorn saddle, from where we will then descend back to Arosa via Älplisee and Schwellisee. approx. 2.5–3 h to Erzhorn / 3–3.5 h to Arosa / +700 m Register here – Registration deadline is 3 days prior. Please also inform us of any allergies upon registration. The tour takes place with a minimum of 3 participants and a maximum of 4.
