Inleiding
This year, IBSA and the Circolo Velico Lago di Lugano (CVLL) are once again joining forces for the traditional Regata di fine estate, organised by the sailing club and known as the Coppa IBSA since
Scheduled for Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August 2026, the event is one of the most eagerly awaited fixtures on the CVLL sporting calendar and attracts sailors from across the region every year. Now in its fourth edition as the Coppa IBSA, the regatta will feature around thirty boats from different sailing classes – including Optimist, Laser and Hansa 303 – with a total of approximately 150 participants.
Once again this year, athletes from Velabili will be among the crews competing aboard the Hansa 303 boats. Based at the CVLL, the association promotes inclusive sailing activities for people with disabilities and has been supported by IBSA since 2022.
In addition, two crews made up of IBSA employees will also take part in the regatta, giving them the opportunity to experience the spirit of the initiative first-hand and share its values.
Throughout the weekend, IBSA will be present at the Circolo Velico Lago di Lugano with a stand to welcome participants, guests and visitors.
