KANTELE UND HACKBRETT
Overzicht
Inleiding
Kirsi Jacot (Finnish kantele) and Ruedi Bischoff (dulcimer from Eastern Switzerland)
The hammered dulcimer meets its Finnish cousin, the kantele. The duo originated from a book of sheet music that brought Finnish and Swiss folk music together in 2023, each with a typical instrument from the respective country. Delicate, mystical sounds describe Nordic landscapes and enter into a dialog with familiar Swiss melodies. | Parish Church Binn
