Inleiding
Public guided tour with stories of saints and rulers.
His widow founded Königsfelden Abbey on the spot where King Albrecht was murdered. She and her daughter Agnes of Hungary had it richly decorated. The windows of the monastery church are among the most important medieval stained glass windows in Europe.
On the guided tour, you will learn to decipher the ingenious pictorial program: Between biblical scenes and saints, the Habsburg founders were also depicted - piety and a demonstration of power went hand in hand.
