Festival of Modern and Contemporary Art in Basel and the Surrounding Region
The Kunsttage Basel is an annual art festival held in Basel and the surrounding region. Over the course of three days, galleries, alternative venues, museums, and collections present modern and contemporary art as part of a joint program featuring exhibitions, guided tours, performances, and other event formats. The goal is to highlight the region’s artistic and cultural diversity and make it an experience for visitors.

Most of the exhibitions and events are free to attend. Paid activities can be booked directly on site.

All exhibitions are open Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
