After POURQUOI?, JE PIONCE DONC JE SUIS and LE MONTESPAN, Michaël Hirsch returns with his third solo show. In his new show, his third solo performance, Michaël Hirsch, comedian and actor, focuses on 'the joy of living,' which, as he recalls, was invented by the French! 'It’s Flaubert, first, who talks about the joy of living, then Zola afterwards who makes it the title of one of his novels. And when I discovered that the joy of living emerged in the mid-19th century during a dark moment in our history, I told myself that there was something interesting about the way the French approach the joy of living,' explains the artist. One year to learn the joy of living! That’s the challenge I set for myself. And it worked… well, almost! Before that, I had tried happiness with a capital H: the one from inspiring quotes, Instagram, and self-help methods. Result: I checked all the boxes… except for the happiness one.
So I tried to understand. I read, experimented, and had... surprising encounters! And I take you along on this funny, sensitive, and above all joyful quest!
By car: parking spaces available near the performance hall
By train: St-Prex CFF station, then a 10-minute walk to the performance hall
Bar: our bar welcomes you 1.5 hours before and after the performances. It offers drinks for all tastes (local wine, champagne, apple juice, sodas, mineral water, hot drinks) and light homemade snacks (sandwiches, Vaudois pâtés, Vaudois cheeses, sweet tarts,...)
