In 1936 werd de Chesa Veglia door Badrutt's Palace Hotel omgetoverd tot een ontmoetingsplaats voor fijnproevers en VIP's. Sindsdien heeft de rustieke sfeer zowel de lokale bevolking als vakantiegangers aangetrokken en is het nog steeds erg populair.
