Intro
High up in the Baltschieder Valley, the view extends to the imposing Bietsch Horn and down to the Rhone Valley up to the Mischabel Group.
The hut is reached from Eggerberg or Ausserberg via the ancient water conduit (Suone) "Gorperi" or "Niwärch", or via the tunnel. Then hike into the wilderness of the distant high valley. Six bedrooms, catered in Midsummer. The hut has its own small hydro-electric power plant. A climbing garden is nearby.
