This hundred-year old mountain hotel is situated 10km behind Kandersteg, in the ruggedly romantic Gastern valley. The rooms are simple and comfortable, the cuisine affordably priced and tasty. There are countless walking, hiking and mountain climbing opportunities nearby (Lötschen Pass, Kanderfirm), where the splendour of Alpine flowers, including rare species, is particularly striking. From June to September we can be reached by bus and car (permit necessary).
