Around 600 animals arrive in the valley from the five Brigels Alps. The festively decorated animals are accompanied by farmers and Alpine herdsmen and arrive in the village one after the other.

In mid-September, the magnificently decorated animals return to the valley on foot with the herdsmen, accompanied by a large village festival with a supporting program.
