You don’t need to have studied philosophy to have something to say
Fancy reflecting, exchanging ideas and enjoying a friendly get-together? The philosophy café is open to everyone, whether you’d like to explore a social issue in greater depth or simply meet local people in a setting that encourages discussion and discovery.
For this session, the discussion will centre on the question: ‘**Is it wrong to laugh at everything?** ’ Everyone will be able to share their ideas and perspectives, with a philosopher on hand to facilitate the discussion, guide the thinking and ensure that everyone has a chance to speak. Some theoretical insights will enrich the discussion.
An opportunity to share ideas, develop critical thinking, test your ideas against others’ and tackle a controversial issue together, whilst listening to and respecting one another.
