Cycloton
Overview
Intro
Cycloton is an open-air, eco-friendly, and family-friendly traveling festival. It's back in 2026 with a new tour, stopping in Ticino and Valais for the first time!
The aim is to unite audiences of all ages and backgrounds around music. Taking place primarily in public spaces, with logistics reduced to the bare minimum, the tour places the human being at the center of attention. The Cycloton caravan transports all the equipment and musical instruments by bicycle. At each stop, two bicycles are transformed into generators, and it is the audience themselves who, by pedaling, generate the electricity needed to amplify the concerts. In Geneva and Ticino, drummer Béatrice Graf (GE/VD – Swiss Music Prize 2019) plays with Ester Poly in her duo, along with bassist Martina Berther (GR, ZH – Swiss Music Prize 2020).
