Festival Rive Jazzy 2026

This 33rd edition of the Rive Jazzy Festival promises to sweep hearts away to the rhythm of lively melodies and infectious beats. It is mainly dedicated to traditional jazz, swing, gypsy jazz, and New Orleans jazz, while also embracing funk, groove, and Balkan gypsy jazz.

This summer, the festival will offer more than twenty concerts featuring over 100 musicians, spread across five iconic stages set in some of the most beautiful locations of the Rive district, along the shores of Lake Geneva.

Starting on July 2, the warm summer evenings will resonate with the finest jazz melodies performed by top bands from the region, across Switzerland, and from abroad, creating a diverse and vibrant program.

The lineup highlights several Italian groups: “The Hot Teapots,” “Simone Lanzi 4tet,” “The Seven Seas Orchestra,” as well as French acts such as “Made in Trompettes” with Michel Bonnet, “Castillo's Novelty Knives,” who perfectly embody the style of the 1920s–30s, and finally “Le Petit Orléans.”

The three Berlin-based groups will undoubtedly be the highlight of this edition:

“The Jungle Jazzband,” “The Big Five,” and especially the superstars of the “David Hermlin Trio,” whose three musicians are all virtuosos and will deliver a unique performance.

Switzerland is also well represented with excellent groups, including “The Sheiks” from Zurich, featuring Valerio Lepori on trombone, “The Swing Spirit” from Geneva, with René Hagmann and Raymond Graisier, as well as “The Funk Therapy,” which propels jazz into the future with its youthful energy.

Another highlight: the much-loved musical cruises held on Saturday at noon aboard a CGN Belle Époque boat. The route connects Nyon to Yvoire and back, with live music and a spectacular view of the lake.
