An evening of pure musical magic awaits you with the Last Station Big Band, protagonist of a musical journey through the immortal compositions of George Gershwin, a genius who knew how to blend jazz, classical music, and the American spirit into timeless melodies.
Accompanying the power and sophistication of the big band is the elegant and intense voice of Celeste Castelnuovo, a performer capable of shedding new light on classics such as Summertime, I Got Rhythm, and The Man I Love.
The program will not be limited to famous songs, but will also explore the symphonic side of Gershwin, with original arrangements from his opera Porgy and Bess and more. A unique opportunity to rediscover the versatility of a composer who was able to cross the boundaries between genres and cultures, leaving an indelible mark on the history of music.
In case of bad weather, the concert will take place at 8:00 PM at the Church of San Vittore in Muralto.
