Die Voraussetzung ist allerdings, dass sie sich auf die Grenzgebiete von Bild- und Schriftkulturen einlassen und auch die Frage nach dem Politischen stellen, die in der Grafik immer steckt. Die Führung versteht sich als Versuch, das im Kontext von Propaganda und Werbung entstandene Erbe der visuellen Kommunikation historisch einzuordnen.
