Die Langnauer Jahrmärkte sind legendär- und alt: Bereits 1467 wird der Markt erstmals urkundlich erwähnt. Auch in der heutigen Zeit hat der Markt noch immer eine grosse Bedeutung. Es werden traditionelle, aber auch neue und moderne Waren angeboten. Um die 180 Markthändler und Markthändlerinnen sind jeweils am Markt anzutreffen. Das bunte Warenangebot reicht von Hosenträgern und Socken bis zu Kosmetikartikeln und iPhone-Bags - kulinarisch von Bratwürsten und "Nidletäfeli" bis hin zu Churros (spanische Spezialität).
