Manuel Stahlberger
Overview
Intro
It's all about
Are you kidding me? It’s true. The World Cleanup Championship is in full swing, and we’re right in the thick of it. We’ve been at it for ages. Everyone wants order, but not everyone wants the same kind. We’re taking a break and standing at the buffet. The selection is huge. While a lot of it is becoming more and more similar, there’s still a bit of everything. A sense of aimlessness and fear of the future—even more so than before. Manuel Stahlberger fills a plate and serves us this whole jumble in small bites, including hand axes and cave paintings from his ancestors back then, poetry albums, Christmas movies, baked art, songs from the sweltering heat, and reports on life on distant planets. Stahlberger is a singer-songwriter and illustrator, and he combines these two forms of expression in his solo shows. He was awarded the “Swiss Prize for the Performing Arts” in 2021 and the Salzburger Stier in 2009.
