In “ALMOST TRUE”, PV takes us on a journey as an ode to imagination, where the lonely child he once was becomes an adult who confronts his flaws and struggles with sincerity and plenty of self‑mockery.
At the heart of the story is a family as eccentric as it is unexpected: an alcoholic sister, a mother doing her best to look after everyone, an overly blunt “middle” sister, and a Portuguese father who is both rough and grumpy. A family whose reality sometimes seems to go beyond the imagination of his childhood.
Blending heartfelt confessions, self‑deprecation, and contagious energy, PV delivers a show that is as moving as it is hilarious.
