Intro
As part of the exhibition "Ode to the Nagelfluh," Katrin Odermatt will read from her book "Selbstverortung" at the closing event. Meeting point: Bergwerk Rigi, 2:00 p.m.
Katrin Odermatt is an artist from Merlischachen. In early 2025, she spent four months as an artist-in-residence at the Canton of Schwyz’s studio in New York. She processed the traces of the diverse impressions the metropolis left on her, on the one hand, in the installation “Pavements of NYC,” which is on display in the tunnel on Unterer Firstweg, and on the other hand, in literary form in her book “Selbstverortung.”
